"Live in the sunshine. Swim in the sea. Drink the wild air." - Emerson

RutgersMy mother and father raised me and my two brothers in the New Jersey suburbs. My father gave me my first share of stock in International House of Pancakes when I was 12. That gift planted the seed that developed into my love for investing and financial planning.

I attended Rutgers University where I majored in Engineering and later received an MBA.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights FootballI met my beautiful wife, Lois, at Rutgers.

We were married on campus and remained in the area until we moved to Florida for a job opportunity. We have a daughter, Elizabeth, who also attended Rutgers and is married, and a son, C.J. who attended the University of Florida.

After working my way through management and executive positions at two S&P 500 companies, I changed careers to pursue my passion for personal financial planning.

I am former President of the Rutgers Club of Tampa Bay. Lois and I are proud supporters of Rutgers Athletics.

During football weekends, we can be found at Rutgers Club game watch parties or on an occasional road trip to New Brunswick or another Big Ten city.

Fitness is important to me. I enjoy running and participate in the annual Gasparilla Half Marathon in Tampa.

I believe that it is important to give back to my community, so I am active in my church’s food pantry and Habitat for Humanity. I have been President of a local Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris fellow during my tenure.

I believe in empowering the next generation when it comes to their finances and I am a guest instructor for personal financial planning at a local high school.
